On November 16, 2024, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University organized Meeting, Exchange and Connection program of the Alumni Liaison Board (ALB) with the topic "From Research to Practical Application". The program was attended by Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Dean of FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan - Vice Dean of FEEE, Dr. Tran Dinh Cuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, MSc. Phan Thanh Tai - Leader of the Faculty's ALB, along with representatives of guest companies and businesses and about 30 alumni from the courses attending.
Representing the FEEE, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong expressed his hope that the ALB can connect generations of alumni, build a strong alumni community, where people can meet, share, and support each other. Regularly organize meetings, seminars, and sports activities to strengthen solidarity. In addition, the ALB can support alumni in finding suitable jobs, organize training courses and seminars to improve alumni's professional skills. Provide advice and support for alumni who intend to start a business.
At the program, representatives of enterprises also shared about the company's field of operation, cooperation opportunities, expanding connections with the FEEE, alumni and guest enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Hai Phung - Director of Lin Ka Service Co., Ltd. shared about the field of design, construction, installation and maintenance of dehumidification systems for buildings and commercial centers. Mr. Tran Dang Dat - Director of TBK Green Food Joint Stock Company shared about start-up experience, information on recruiting interns and job opportunities at the company. Ms. Dinh Tran Man Tuyen - BIM Manager at TLC Module Construction Co., Ltd. shared about BIM/VDC, cooperation opportunities with units in the field of electromechanical and construction, especially in digital transformation and BIM training (MEPF, Architech, Structure) in enterprises.
Representing the FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan also shared information about the Faculty's research groups in areas such as AI, IoT, Drones, power system optimization, electric motor control, power system frequency control. The FEEE also hopes to be able to combine and create a bridge between researchers, businesses and investors. Promote the process of converting research results into valuable products and services.
