Final round of the AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2024 competition

The AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2024 competition's final round was held on November 14, 2024, at Vietnamese-German University (Ring Road 4, Quarter 4, Thoi Hoa Ward, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province). With outstanding results, the tournament has also evolved into a valuable technology playground for students to expand their thinking and skills in the field of technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AIoT). The competition was designed for the following purposes: Create chances for students to study and complete practical research projects, hence encouraging innovative entrepreneurs. Simultaneously, linkages are being established between universities, research institutes, and industries, laying the groundwork for future technological progress.

           There are 47 teams representing ten different colleges battled hard. Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) competed, with seven teams registered. Ton Duc Thang University had one representative that advanced to the final round, team Vitaltrack Solutions, with the topic "Wireless system for monitoring breathing and heart rate." Team Vitaltrack Solutions consists of bright students from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Faculty of Information Technology, including: Le Minh Quan (group leader), Hoang Tran Minh Thuan, Dang Phuoc Loc, Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, and Pham Duy Khoa. Below With the diligent leadership of Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - Lecturer of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, the team excelled and earned Second Prize with a prize totaling 35 million VND and a medal.

           This competition demonstrates that it is not just a competition that results in tremendous victories, but also a vital lesson for students to continue honing their talents, doing research, and making beneficial contributions to the future technological sector.
