On the morning of November 22th, 2019, the final round of “The 21st Euréka Science Research Student Award 2019” was held at University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh Chi City. Through many rounds, the student group of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty of Ton Duc Thang University conquered the jury council and won a consolation prize in the competition.
With an aim of giving students opportunity to learn, to research and to promote their creativity, the competition was held in order to support and push forward researching among students. With the success of previous competitions, “Student science research Euréka” returned and drew attention of over 100 universities, colleges, academies from 19 provinces of Vietnam. The vast increased amount of participants, ideas showed the inspiration that the competition had brought to students. Surpassing many researching ideas, Ton Duc Thang University's students group included 4 members Nguyen Minh Trong, Le Mai Bao Nhu, Cao Hoang Phuc and Nguyen Thi Hoang Phuong entered the final round with topic "Smart light". The idea passed strict censorship of the council and won a consolation prize.
The prize not only brought pride of Ton Duc Thang University's students but also was an accomplishment of non-stop effort, researching, creativity of the students. Not only that, it was also a model, motivation for students to study, to pursue the passion, and to express their ideas about the real-life issues of society.
