In order to create conditions for students to have the opportunity to access and learn about the actual operations and technology of businesses in the telecommunications field, on the morning of March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University and the Board of Directors of ACT Telecommunications Company organized a tour for students of the FEEE.
ACT Telecommunication Joint Stock Company was established on November 21, 2011. Operating nationwide, with business areas in the telecommunications industry such as: Telecommunications infrastructure design; Leasing fiber optic telecommunications infrastructure; Construction of telecommunications projects; Telecommunication infrastructure operation management services; Providing digital television equipment; Providing goods and telecommunications equipment; Providing IT products and solutions etc.
With the excitement of the students, the trip departed quite early. The delegation came from Ton Duc Thang University and was present at ACT Telecommunications Joint Stock Company, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. At the beginning of the tour, the students took souvenir photos at the company. Next, students listened to a representative's introduction about the company's activities. In addition, students can also visit the network operations center, technical department and BTS broadcast station. At the end of the tour, there is a time for students to have the opportunity to interact with experts, have their questions answered about technology, career trends, and take souvenir photos.
Students received practical skills and insights on how a firm runs in the telecommunications area, applied what they had learnt in practice, and so had a future career orientation. The trip took place and finished to the delight of the kids.
