On October 15, 2022, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University, held a meeting for new students of the 26th class at Hall 2A. The meeting was to exchange with new students about the Faculty's goals and directions for the academic year 2022-2023. In addition, they also disseminated important academic information, rules, and student work.
Attending the meeting were Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Vice Dean of the FEEE, Dr. Huynh Van Van - Assistant Dean of the Faculty, lecturers, staff, and all new students of the 26th class. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Vo Hong Phat - the representative of the student from the 26th class, came up to read the letter from Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Dean of the Faculty to congratulate on the event becoming a student of the Faculty and the University. Subsequently, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong introduced the achievements of the Faculty's students as well as the plan of activities for the new school year. Besides, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang - the Leader of the Electrical - Electronics Club (EEC) presented the goals and operation plan of the EEC. Furthermore, Mr. Vo Van Ven- Union Branch Leader of the Faculty Student Union Association introduced the Association's work and the "Student of 5 merits" movement. Next, Mr. Le Duc Thinh disseminated academic-related issues to the new students. Finally, Mr. Phan Thanh Duy instructed the students on the contents related to Student Affairs activities, rules, regulations, and policies of the University during the academic year.
Through this meeting, new students can understand academic issues as well as develop a suitable study plan for themselves. In addition, the new students will have a better overview of the Faculty and the chosen major and orientations for themselves in the future.
