On the afternoon of August 27, 2023, at Hall 2A, Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized a welcoming event for students of the FEEE for the academic year 2023-2024. During this meeting, the Faculty Management Board (FMB) reviewed the FEEE's achievements in the academic year 2022-2023 and exchanged ideas with students about the goals and directions of activities for the academic year 2023-2024. Furthermore, this was an opportunity for the FMB to listen to students' opinions, understand their thoughts and aspirations, and address any questions they had.
The meeting took place with the participation of Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong and Dr. Huynh Van Van, who are Vice Deans of the Faculty, along with faculty members, staff from the Faculty, and students. The meeting started with musical performances performed by students of the FEEE. On the side of the FMB, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong shared the Faculty's main activities with lecturers and students on the occasion of the new academic year. Next is the commendation activity for students with high achievements in study and training; reward students who win prizes in competitions organized by the Faculty and students who have made positive contributions to the Faculty's union society movement. Following that, MSc. Phan Thanh Tai shared information with students about research activities. Additionally, MSc. Nguyen Thanh Quang presented the activities of the Electronics Club that students can participate in during the new academic year. Mr. Le Duc Thinh addressed academic-related matters for the students. Before concluding the program, Mr. Phan Thanh Duy discussed topics related to student affairs in the new academic year. He also reminded students of the university's rules, regulations, and policies, emphasizing the importance of students being aware of, understanding, and strictly adhering to them. Furthermore, the department's leadership team allocated time to answer students' questions regarding course content, internship conditions, and graduation projects.
The meeting with students at the beginning of the academic year 2023-2024 of the FEEE was a great success, thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of the Faculty's lecturers and the student's eagerness to learn. The FEEE hopes that this meeting has partly addressed the students' questions and will help them become more confident and competent in their upcoming academic journey.
