To strengthen the collaborative relationship between businesses and the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) as well as Ton Duc Thang University in general, and to provide students with opportunities to connect with companies and find suitable employment after graduation, the FEEE organized the event "2023 Taiwan Semiconductor Talents Exchange Activity" on September 21, 2023.
The event welcomed the participation of representatives from Mediatek, Realtek, ASE, Nanya, Micron, and Ardentec as well as universities and colleges such as National Taiwan University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University, National Tsing Hua University, National Taipei University of Technology, and Chang Gung University. From Ton Duc Thang University, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Vice President, leaders from the FEEE, and students. Mr. Stanley Chang, representing the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office, emphasized “the increasing importance of collaboration between individuals and organizations across continents in today's rapidly developing world”. Following this, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau expressed gratitude to the business representatives and university delegates from Taiwan. Subsequently, business representatives shared insights and introduced job opportunities in Taiwan. Before the interview session, students participated in a Lucky Draw with the chance to receive special gifts from the organizers.
At the end of the program, students have the opportunity to participate in interviews and apply for their desired positions. This is a highly practical event, helping students get closer to companies and businesses to have more useful experiences for themselves. With active participation from students, the FEEE along with businesses will continue to coordinate in organizing events for students in the future.
