Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) and the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) co-organized a thematic report session on the afternoon of April 9 at meeting rooms C010 and A010, collaborating with professors from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in activities related to teaching, student exchange, and scientific research. This improves research quality and broadens international cooperation.
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), founded on February 1, 2021, is a leading university in the fields of electronics, information communication and management, science, and engineering, with a 20-year goal of developing biomedical fields such as biomedical information, biomedical materials, biomedical electronics, biomedical science, and so on. It is intended to be a pioneer in the development of Taiwan's biomedical technology industry, spanning both telecommunications and biomedicine.
Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) was established in 1955 in northern Taiwan. This is a multifunctional university with sophisticated research and teaching facilities. According to the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) review, CYCU is a technical university in the private university system and ranks fifth among all Taiwanese institutions.
The exchange and cooperation session was attended by Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Dean of FEEE, Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean of FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Vice Dean of FAS, and lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Faculty of Applied Sciences. In addition, it is a privilege to host professors from CYCU and NYCU. The thematic report session provided an opportunity for students to learn more about semiconductor circuit design techniques (FEEE), polymer physics, and molecular synthesis methods (FAS), as well as new research directions from professors. At the end of the report session is time for students to ask questions and listen to answers from professors.
Through the the exchange and cooperation session, students were introduced to new research directions and approached modern methods, thereby orienting their future graduation projects and theses.
