A contest of “Assembling remote control robots for high school students”

On November 23rd, 2019, Club of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (CEEE), Ton Duc Thang University held a contest titled “Assembling robots controlled via smartphones for high school students” at Tran Van Giau High School, Ho Chi Minh City. Examiner Board of the contest includes a lecturer and the members of the CEEE of Ton Duc Thang University. 
The contest Assembling remote control robots” was aimed to provoke high school students’ curiosity and creativity. In this contest, the students were divided into teams of 5-6 persons. Each team received one “TEC car robot kit”. This was mini car robot with remote control via smartphone’s Bluetooth signal. The robot was designed and built by the CEEE. Every team was instructed once and then they assembled robots with guides received from the organizer. The winning team was the team that had the shortest time duration of controlling the robot run. The contest helped the high school students to improve teamwork skills as well as real-life assembling and controlling robot skill set. 
With the enthusiastic help of the members of the CEEE, the high school students had a healthy playground, exchanged useful knowledge with full of joy. Not only that, they also had a better understanding about majors of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University. This would help them had more choices for suitable career in the future.
