On the morning of December 6, 2025, at Meeting Room C010, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a career orientation and networking session for Electrical Engineering students. The event aimed to support students - especially final-year students in identifying suitable career paths when selecting their graduation thesis topics, while also updating essential information related to the electrical engineering field amid the growing demand for high-quality human resources.
The session welcomed distinguished guest speakers who are successful alumni of the Electrical Engineering major and currently hold key positions at major companies, including Mr. Tran Quang Minh – Head of Engineering and Project Management at Vietnam America Australia International Training Joint Stock Company, Mr. Duong Thanh Tai – Engineering and Supervisor at First Solar Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Tran Quoc Thinh – Project Manager at FPT Telecom International Co., Ltd., and Mr. Truong Chi Trung- Engineering and Supervisor at Quatest 3 Company. Representing the FEEE was Dr. Pham Huu Ly – Coordinator of Enterprise Networking, MsE. Tran Anh Tuan and Alumni Affairs, along with a large number of Electrical Engineering students. During the sharing session, the speakers presented various practical topics such as photovoltaic manufacturing technology, essential professional and soft skills, and the importance of foreign languages - particularly English - in multinational working environments in Vietnam, while also addressing multiple questions related to academic plans, internships, and career opportunities.
At the end of the program, students gained clearer insight into industry trends, competency requirements, and skills expected by employers, thereby enabling them to develop an effective study plan and better prepare for the selection of their graduation thesis topics. The session contributed to strengthening the connection between the University, alumni, and industry, while motivating Electrical Engineering students to proactively equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and competencies to meet future labor market demands.
