To create favorable conditions for students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) to have the opportunity to connect multi-disciplinary thinking, unleash creativity, develop ideas into reality and start up a successful business, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) cooperates with the Ho Chi Minh City Electrical Engineering Association organize a startup competition for students "TDTU STARTUP WINGS 2024". The total prize of the contest is up to 10,000,000 VND and other support from Companies.
1. Contest Information:
a. Qualify round:
- Organizing time: April 1-14, 2024.
- Groups will present their ideas to the examiners who will select the 3 best ideas to enter the final round.
- Scoring criteria:
+ Present ideas and socio-economic benefits.
+ Expected results of the idea.
+ Creativity of ideas.
+ Ability to apply ideas in life.
+ Market and product commercialization goals.
b. Final Round:
- Organizing time: June 17 - 30, 2024.
- Groups present startup product results (drawings, images, simulation results, actual products, ...).
- Scoring criteria:
+ Present and clarify the meaning of ideas.
+ Present and demonstrate the socio-economic benefits and applicability of the idea in life.
+ Expected results of the idea.
+ Market, production, and product commercialization goals.
+ Creativity of ideas.
2. Participants:
- Students of FEEE and students of other faculties combined with students of FEEE;
- Students can register to attend individually or in groups (maximum 4 members).
3. Prizes:
- Qualify round: 03 best ideas are selected for the final round, and each idea is given a budget of 2,000,000 VND to implement the project.
- Final round:
+ First prize: certificate and bonus worth 2,000,000 VND.
+ Second prize: certificate and bonus worth 1,500,000 VND.
+ Third prize: certificate and bonus worth 500,000 VND.
+ And opportunities to support product commercialization or technology transfer from companies and businesses.
