In the afternoon of October 23rd, 2018 at the conference room C, Tan Phong campus, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Faculty of Electrical – Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized a seminar, titled “Ionosphere and ionospheric measurement”, presented by Dr. Lubos Rejfek. This is an interesting topic which have attracted the attention of researchers in telecommunication, especially in satellite communication. The seminar attracted many lecturers, and the students of FEEE, who are interested in this field.
In the seminar, Dr. Lubos presented about the ionosphere and its influence to the satellite communication. The research group of Dr. Lubos have conducted the simulation and measurement of the signal transmission from radar to the ionosphere and reflected back to the antenna. Based on the results, they can evaluate the ionosphere to the telecommunication in detailed. In addition, Dr. Lubos also presented about the GPS measurement and the application of CDSS technique in earthquake measurement…
