Nonlinear systems and applications (NoSA)

1. Introduction

Nonlinear Systems and Applications (NoSA) established in 2018 is a research group funded by Ton Duc Thang University. The objective of NoSA is focused on outstanding research group in the field of nonlinear dynamics.

2. Mission and vision

The group research activities extensive studies focusing on nonlinear systems in the literature, novel phenomena in such systems are continued revealing. Therefore, discovering complex features of nonlinear systems is still received signification attention and need further researches. Moreover, novel properties of nonlinear systems are potential candidates to create advanced designs for practical applications.

3. Research topics

Our group is doing research in the field of nonlinear dynamics: Modeling nonlinear dynamical systems, nonlinear effects in life science, chaotic signals and systems, nonlinear circuits, fractional order systems, applications: secure communications, cryptography, robotics, etc.

Dr. Christos Volos

§ Positions:

·       Head of Nonlinear Systems and Applications, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam

·       Professor of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece

§ Areas of expertise: The research interests of Dr. Volos are mainly but not exhaustively in area of applied complexity in circuits and systems, as well as in chaotic electronics and their applications. Research regarding memristors, memristor-based
circuits and memristive systems is of great interest.
