Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TDTU Expands International Training and Research Collaboration at NSYSU, Taiwan

From  1/7 to 3/7, 2026, the delegation of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), successfully conducted a visit, working sessions, and participated in a scientific conference at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan. The trip opened up many strategic opportunities for collaboration in both high-quality human resource training and advanced scientific research.

During the visit, representatives of TDTU’s Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and NSYSU held in-depth discussions and reached consensus on aligning undergraduate programs under the 3 + 1 + 1 joint training model. This model applies to students majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Semiconductor Circuit Design Engineering, with an optimized pathway. This strategic step shortens study time, enabling TDTU students to access Taiwan’s leading education and semiconductor technology early, preparing them to embrace the global technology shift.

In addition to training, the delegation achieved important agreements on joint scientific research in next-generation wireless communications (5G-A/6G). Both sides committed to collaborating on joint research projects, academic exchanges, and publishing high-quality scientific works in prestigious international journals.

On this occasion, the delegation also invited NSYSU to participate in the International Conference AETA 2026 hosted at TDTU. This reputable scientific forum provided an opportunity for TDTU researchers to exchange, share, and update the latest technological trends with international experts.

The visit to National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) not only reaffirmed the position and reputation of TDTU’s Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the international academic network but also realized its commitment to offering internationally standardized training programs, particularly in strategic fields such as Semiconductor Circuit Design and Next-Generation Communication Networks.
