On the morning of September 11th, 2018, the 5th International Conference on Advanced engineering - Theory and Applications 2018 (AETA 2018) was officially opened at Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. The conference brought together the world's leading experts and scientists in the field of advanced technology from 63 universities and institutes of 13 countries (Vietnam, Czech Republic, Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan, United States, Russia, France, Netherlands, Italy, Slovakia and Combodia). The workshop included 89 scientific papers on theoretical and applied issues in the field of communication; computer science; control system; robot; Automation in industry, power ... Especially, there were 4 invited reports which were from IEEE fellow: GS. Leon O. Chua (University of California, Berkeley, USA), GS. Swagatam Das (Indian Statistical Institute, India), GS. Nikolay V. Kuznetsov (Saint Petersburg State University, Russia) and Prof. Awadhesh Prasad (University of Delhi, India). The papers will be printed in Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering series, now indexed by ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS, MetaPress, Springerlink. Best papers related to Electrical Engineering will be selected for submission to a special issue of the journal of Advanced Engineering and Computation.
AETA 2018 is a scientific event that not only promotes the training and transfer of electrical engineering technology, computer science, mechatronics ... but also extends the opportunity to develop research cooperation between universities, Ton Duc Thang University in particular as well as scientific organizations, other universities in the world in general with the business community. On this occasion, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice Rector of Ton Duc Thang University and his delegation had a meeting with Professor. Petr Saha, President of Tomas Bata University, aims to further promote the cooperation between the two universities.
This workshop was founded by Ton Duc Thang University and was held for the first time in 2013, and is now a prestigious scientific conference held every year. The 1st AETA (2013), the 2nd AETA (2015) and the 4th AETA (2017) were held at TDTU, the 3rd AETA (2016) was held at Pukyong National University (Korean). This year, the 5th AETA (2018) was held at the Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic).
