From 20 to 27 April, 2018, Department of Electrical Engineering - Ton Duc Thang University’s Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FEEE) organized the Contest of Electrical Equipment Installation Skills 2018 to create the academic playground for students of the faculty, provide them the opportunity to improve the electrical equipment design and installation skills as well as apply their knowledge into the practice. The contest included 3 rounds:
- The 1st round: Testing specialist knowledge
- The number of participants: 210 students
- Examination form: self-assessment
- Time, place: 15:00 pm, 20 April, 2018 (Friday), room C411
- The 2nd round: Design on software
- The number of participants: 55 students
- Exam format: Circuit design on CADs Simulator software
- Time, place: 8:00 am, April 22, 2018 (Sunday), room A0703 & A0704
- The final Round: Testing skills
- The number of participants: 10 students
- Examination form: Practical installation of the circuit
- Time, place: 13:00 pm, 27 April (Friday), 2018, room D0404
The competition successfully ended with the final result:
- Student Nguyen Huu Nhan (41403249) won the first prize;
- Student Do Huu Nhan (41501013) won the second prize
- Student Vuong Giai Loi (41401105) and student Pham Van Thien (41401419) won the third prize.
“FEEE’s students – be well-versed and willing to pursue science and technology” is the message that the contest has recorded in all of us.
